About Aureus Africa

Built for More Transparent African Gold Engagement

Aureus Africa started in 2025 at the request of customers looking for a gold dealer in Africa they could actually trust. We grew from a small Kampala-based brokerage into one of the region's most established Africa gold exporters, sourcing certified 24K, 22K, and 18K gold bars, ingots, dust, and doré from eight countries. Several of our team members were born in gold-mining communities and watched middlemen take advantage of miners on one side and inflate prices for buyers on the other. That firsthand experience is why we built our business around transparent, mine-direct pricing and full documentation on every shipment — not around cutting out the parts of the process that protect our customers. Today, as a licensed Africa gold exporter under Mineral Dealer's Licence MDL20260772, we supply individual investors, jewellers, and institutional buyers with LBMA-referenced 24K gold bars, backed by independent assay certification on every batch.

Our Identity

A Commercial Bridge With Responsible Boundaries

Aureus Africa serves buyers and counterparties seeking clearer communication around African physical-gold opportunities. We focus on defining the product, verifying relevant facts, identifying transaction risks and documenting expectations.

We do not treat a supplier relationship as proof of mine ownership, a photograph as proof of inventory, or a certificate as proof of the particular gold offered. Each transaction must stand on its own evidence and agreed process.

Purpose & Direction

What Aureus Africa Aims to Build

Our direction is expressed through practical responsibilities rather than unverified superlatives.

Purpose

Help qualified parties engage with African physical-gold opportunities through clearer requirements, stronger verification and more disciplined transaction planning.

Vision

Contribute to an African mineral trade in which credible operators and serious buyers can build long-term relationships around evidence, responsibility and fair dealing.

Buyer Promise

Explain what information is known, what remains subject to verification and which decisions belong to the buyer, seller, laboratory, carrier or relevant authority.

Operating Principle

Do not create confidence through unsupported claims. Build it through identifiable parties, specific material, suitable tests, documented terms and accountable actions.

How We Work

Corporate FAQ

Understanding Aureus Africa

Does Aureus Africa claim to own every mine or source it discusses?

No. Ownership, operational control, supplier relationships and advisory or sourcing roles are different and should be described accurately for each opportunity.

Why are some names or documents not shown?

The website only displays leadership, partner and credential information entered through the controlled Admin system. Missing information is not replaced with invented placeholders.

Can buyers verify corporate information?

Yes. Buyers are encouraged to check company and licence records with appropriate issuing authorities and verify the identity and authority of the person representing the company.

What is Aureus Africa’s role in a transaction?

The role depends on the specific written arrangement. It may involve communication, sourcing support, transaction information or coordination, but responsibilities must be agreed rather than assumed.

Does website content create a binding offer?

No. Product availability, quantity, purity, pricing and transaction terms must be confirmed for the specific opportunity in appropriate written documents.
